Abstract
In order to help students better succeed in college, I created the calendar app called Whensitdue. The app uses Firebase Authentication and Firestore for the backend and Angular with Ionic as framework for the frontend user interface. My goal is to have a mobile application that a student can program with their individual schedule. The app sends timely reminders to students in order to help them remember due dates. In addition to the calendar, the app features links to NCF resources a student might use for their assignments, pop-up reminders, and a detailed view of the scheduled event. With more time, the app could be user tested for effectiveness.
