Abstract
In this thesis, I set out to discuss the importance of data visualization in a data driven world and apply that to astrophysics by creating a visualization of the data collected by NASA’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS). In discussing the history and principles of visualization and the complex world of exoplanet discovery, I was able to explore the important, and often overlooked, connections between art and science.
