Abstract
At the intersection of tourism and cryptozoology there is an emerging form of tourism. This particular form of tourism, based in heritage tourism, which utilizes local invisible heritage and legends is being created in locations that are otherwise bereft of major economic industries. Through three separate case stud ies situated along the eastern side of the United States and an examination of her itage tourism, these particular types of tourist locations are explored to reveal sim ilarities and potential future growth of Cryptozoological Tourism.
