Abstract
Acreative project in the medium of sequential narrative, this thesis consists of two original artworks executed in a way tochallenge the format of the medium. The sequential narrative 'Robots' is an exercise in communicating a narrative through visual images alone. The narrative 'Squid Scroll' is anexercise in producing a sequential narrative in a scroll format asopposed to the codex format that is now themost prevalentformat of sequential narrative works. The written portion of the thesis examines the artist's background and assigned meaning to the imagery used in the creative portion.
