Abstract
This thesis is a collection of papers that I have written in various classes at New College of Florida, revised and compiled in order to make a common point between them- that of climate change and its effects on the world. These six papers are split into three sections, focused on the risks of anthropogenic climate change, the difficulties in changing minds in relation to climate change, and environmental racism/injustice. The purpose of these revisions is as follows: to clean up the original papers (in terms of errors, poor length or new citations) and to expand them in order to place them more solidly in the topic of climate change while also using additional knowledge that I have gained since writing these papers to expand their contents. Through this, I will both show the work that I have done to extend my knowledge of environmental studies in my time here at New College, and highlight various difficulties that go into the topics of climate change and environmental studies.
