Abstract
In “Some Kind of Light” I have hoped to create a snapshot tapestry 0f the lives of people living on the streets of Sarasota during my time there, 2018-2022. I have woven together my story of houseless activism in Sarasota, on my own and with the local organizations Streets of Paradise and Food not Bombs. Here I present my research, observations, and interviews with those who work with the houseless about the institutional framework people living on the streets find themselves in, and several interviews with individuals living on the streets of Sarasota who speak about their lives and experiences.
