Abstract
This paper examines how recent financial tools have impacted consumer behavior and how those tools will continue to behave. In particular, we focus on Bitcoin (BTC) as an alternative to the U.S. dollar, and do an econometric analysis of GameStop (GME) and the recent bubble it and other heavily shorted stocks displayed.
