Abstract
This thesis presents an economic and political analysis of the Northern Ireland Troubles. The economic, political, and social factors of the conflict and the peace were analyzed to determine if the peace process had addressed the root causes of conflict. Following the analysis, this thesis concluded that Northern Ireland still suffers from structural economic and political inequality which leads to social divide. While Northern Ireland experiences peace, it is an incomplete and fragile peace.
