Abstract
The EG1-DVCS experiment took place in Hall B of Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility for 128 days in 2009. It scattered longitudinally polarized electrons from a longitudinally polarized 14 N H 3 target. The data has been calibrated and is ready for analysis. From this data the spin structure function g1 can be calculated. This structure function gives a way to observe the internal spin structure of the proton.
