Abstract
This is a description of my artwork, my influences, and inspirations. There is also a comprehensive section describing the processes I use for drawing and developing ideas. My art mostly consists of pen and ink drawings, but also includes a tarot deck and several installations. It is inspired by the infinitely complex world in which we live, and is an attempt to process the growing amount of information I am exposed to on a daily basis. My artistic influences include Salvador Dali, Matthew Ritchie, and Mariko Mori. Much of my art has been inspired by childhood experiences, and is an attempt to help people rediscover their natural curiosity to help them see the world for the amazingly fascinating place that it is. My belief is that when people will spend several minutes looking at my artwork, they will take that behavior and apply it to things they see in their everyday environment whose beauty they normally ignore, or have simply forgotten.
