Description
Leaf from a collection of biblical extracts, containing verses from Proverbs 29 and 30. Text runs from Proverbs 29:12 (“qui”) to 30:31 (“resistat”), omitting 29:13-14, 16, 18-20, 23 and 25; also 30:1, 3-6, 9-14, 17, and 20.
Single folio with an unusual oblong shape (probably to facilitate portability), ruled in light red and written in a single column in black ink (now faded). One 2-line decorated initial and numerous paraph marks on both sides alternate gold ink on red and blue backgrounds, with white detailing (except for two, one on each side, which are white ink on a gold background). Recto also contains two marginal notae (abbreviated "no") and an "xxx" where verse 30 begins. Running head on both sides reads "Proverbia."
